Steven Saunders

Steven Saunders chairs Nutter’s Intellectual Property Department, where he helps innovators transform ideas and technology into scalable, defensible businesses. A recognized leader in the startup ecosystem, he partners with founders, investors, and accelerators to develop IP strategies that attract capital and drive global growth. Drawing on his experience as an IP strategist, engineer, and active angel investor, Steven advises early-stage and growth companies on building strong patent portfolios, navigating due diligence, and positioning for venture funding, mergers, and acquisitions. In addition to his work with Entrypoint, he mentors entrepreneurs nationwide, including through MIT and the Massachusetts Innovation Network, and invests with Hub Angels and Launchpad Ventures.
