Seasoned Venture Capital Investor

Andrew Ackerman is a seasoned venture capital investor, SPV syndicate sponsor, and former accelerator director with a two decade-track record in early-stage investing. Andrew also founded two startups, is a professor of entrepreneurship, and the author of "The Entrepreneur's Odyssey." After starting as a consultant and serial entrepreneur, he transitioned into angel investing, leading to roles in a family office and now institutional VC. His approach is rooted in systematizing investor and customer engagement through curated networks.

Andrew also advises large real estate players—developers, GCs, and landlords—on innovation and CVC strategies, helping them avoid common pitfalls and harness the potential of corporate venture initiatives.

He is a prolific contributor to both startup and industry media, with 60+ articles published in Fortune, Forbes, Edsurge, Propmodo, BUILDER Online, and more. An active global thought leader, he frequently speaks at conferences across the U.S. and internationally, including in South Korea, Poland, and Canada.
